Lake’s Five is obviously a play on Ocean’s 8, the latest in the Oceans series of films appearing at cinemas this year.

A more comedic take on that franchise sees five animals all working under an elk known as Lake while trying to capture a precious blue diamond.

The tongue-in-cheek slot is colourful, creative and features top-notch graphics, just as you would expect from ELK Studios.

Wagering and Prizes

ELK Studios are renowned for their odd pay-line structure, and Lake’s Five brings that to the forefront, with a total of 178 paylines spread over the slot’s five reels.

Those paylines are fixed into place, but players can adjust their wagers using the coin button on this mobile-friendly slot.

Expect floor bets to cost a more than respectable $0.20 per spin while ceiling bets do not exceed $100.00 a game in this slot.

Players can hope to win around 1,000x their total stake in this slot. That is made possible by landing five of the dolled-up goldfish icons on any pay-line in the game.

Other icons in the slot are worth considerably less, but a fair RTP (return to player) rate set to 96.30% ensures that players are never far away from a win.

Special Slot Features

The slot’s wild symbol also doubles as a scatter icon and can substitute for any other symbols in the game.

Not only can these symbols substitute for all other icons, but they can also trigger a few bonus features in the game.

Landing two scatter wilds on the reels will trigger a re-spin bonus with the two wilds dropping down a spot on the reels.

Players will keep landing re-spins and potential wins until no new wilds appear on the reels of the game. Players who land more than two scatters wilds on the reels will trigger the slot’s main bonus feature.

Bonus Round

In Lake’s Five’s bonus round, players will start with a total of 10 free spins.

Players will notice that keys can appear on the first, third and fifth reels during this feature. When three keys are collected, a bonus feature is dished out.

These features can include wild symbols walking to the right from the first reel on each spin, frozen wilds remaining in place on the second reel, or wilds moving up the reels a single position on the third reel.

Wilds can multiply your winnings, and on the final spin, any remaining wilds will walk off the reels, leaving a trail of wilds behind in their wake.
